HVAC Specialist Technical Operations Engineer, Connected Warfare

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems to ensure seamless operation of integrated hardware-software solutions.
• Perform incident triage and root-cause analysis for HVAC system failures.
• Conduct pre-deployment testing and configuration of HVAC units for diverse environments.
• Execute large-scale product deployments and manage ongoing system sustainment for customers.
• Provide technical expertise during customer demonstrations, events, and initial product handoffs.
• Enhance user experience and software tools for HVAC control systems.
• Educate others on HVAC equipment operation, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.

What we're looking for

• Based in Costa Mesa, California.
• Profound hands-on expertise in HVAC system maintenance, repair, installation, and operational methods.
• Expertise in HVAC troubleshooting, diagnostics, and resolving complex challenges in challenging environments.
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC system design, specifications, and data-driven analysis.
• Competency in OSHA and EPA standards, including refrigerant management and safety protocols.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external customers.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
• Able to meet health and medical requirements for deployments in accordance with DFARS and DoDI regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field with an emphasis on HVAC (preferred).
• Professional certifications in HVAC, OSHA, and EPA (preferred).
• Experience with HVAC operations in secure environments, such as DoD (preferred).
• Military background with a specialization in HVAC systems (preferred).
• Technical proficiency in HVAC control systems networking and integration (preferred).
