Head of Production, Space

What you'll do

• Own production outcomes, including ramp plans and headcount planning for new manufacturing lines.
• Create and execute a long-term strategy to rapidly scale production volumes from prototypes to predictable rates.
• Lead cross-functional teams to meet aggressive customer timelines in Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT).
• Manage cleanroom environments and procedures to support increasing space system production volumes.
• Apply aerospace quality management systems and standards to ensure mission success.

What we're looking for

• Over 10 years of experience in overseeing production, assembly, integration, and test of complex electromechanical products.
• Proven ability to scale production operations by at least 5x in high-complexity manufacturing environments.
• Strong leadership of large (100+ person) manufacturing teams with cross-departmental collaboration skills.
• Expert-level knowledge of aerospace quality management systems like AS9100 and AS9103.
• Extensive experience managing cleanroom manufacturing environments for stringent quality requirements.
• Secret security clearance required.
