Your role involves building a robust InnerSource community, establishing a scalable developer support model, and governing AI-native and agentic software engineering initiatives. You will oversee a global organization across platform engineering, product management, and analytics to improve productivity through DORA metrics and sentiment analysis. The role requires expertise in tools such as GitHub, Jira, Azure DevOps, Figma, and Playwright to solve the challenge of providing consistent, scalable developer experiences while maintaining high standards for security, reliability, and operational excellence across diverse business units.

What you'll do

  • Define the enterprise Developer Experience strategy, product vision, and roadmap in partnership with senior technology leadership.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of software development tools including source code management, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Consolidate fragmented tooling and resources to reduce duplication while ensuring uninterrupted engineering delivery.
  • Establish a scalable developer support ecosystem featuring self-service portals, knowledge management, and AI-assisted triage.
  • Drive developer advocacy through communities of practice, technical evangelism, and structured feedback loops.
  • Manage the InnerSource ecosystem to promote shared libraries and standardized contribution practices across divisions.
  • Govern the enterprise approach to AI-native engineering by defining approved tools, guardrails, and reusable workflows.
  • Build a global organization across platform engineering, product management, developer support, and data analytics.

What we're looking for

  • Must have an undergraduate degree; advanced degrees or equivalent experience are preferred.
  • Must possess a minimum of 15 years of progressive technology leadership experience in large-scale engineering platforms or shared services.
  • Must have proven experience building and operating Developer Experience, DevSecOps, or software engineering enablement functions.
  • Must have held enterprise decision rights over tooling for teams outside their direct reporting line.
  • Must have direct ownership of modern product and software development lifecycle platforms including CI/CD, source control, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Must have experience consolidating overlapping toolchains across multiple business units while managing migrations without interrupting delivery.
  • Must have experience rolling out AI-assisted development tooling at scale with established guardrails and measured adoption.
  • Must have experience building and leading a globally distributed organization spanning platform engineering, product management, and analytics.
