TL;DR · Head of Communications, Compliance and Reporting

The Head of Communications, Compliance and Reporting is a leadership role responsible for building a new function that serves as the single front door for information requests, regulatory responses, and metrics across Cyber Product, Platforms & Engineering. This leader will design and own a unified intake stream for requests for information, internal audits, and senior leader directives. Key responsibilities include establishing transparent prioritization models, governing the end-to-end request lifecycle, and modernizing metrics frameworks to reflect real risk reduction. The role involves managing reporting-as-a-service content and utilizing AI and automation to consolidate disparate datasets. The position requires expertise in cybersecurity, technology risk, and compliance within regulated environments. The work specifically addresses the high-scrutiny demands of vulnerability operations, including frontier-AI model scanning and defensible reporting.

What you'll do

  • Design and own a single intake process for all inbound information requests, regulatory inquiries, and audit demands.
  • Establish a transparent prioritization and triage model to sequence requests based on risk, urgency, and audience.
  • Govern the end-to-end request lifecycle from ingestion and consolidation to approval, distribution, and archival.
  • Serve as the primary channel for regulatory and internal audit inquiries, ensuring all responses are reconciled and approved.
  • Modernize the organization's metrics framework to focus on outcome-based data that reflects real risk reduction.
  • Manage Reporting-as-a-Service by scaling a standardized, self-service model for content, cadence, and quality control.
  • Apply AI and automation tools to consolidate disparate datasets and eliminate manual reporting efforts.
  • Translate complex technical topics into clear briefings and narratives for the Board, regulators, and senior executives.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree (preferred).
  • Relevant certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISM, PMP, or product management (preferred).
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, technology risk, compliance, or related functions in large, regulated environments.
  • Experience owning reporting products or platforms subject to recurring audits and regulatory scrutiny in complex, high-stakes environments.
  • Proven experience managing regulatory, audit, and Lines of Defense engagements, including evidence coordination and commitment tracking.
  • Track record of building metrics frameworks and standardized reporting for executive, Board, and regulatory audiences.
  • Experience leading teams and influencing without authority to drive delivery through contributors outside the direct reporting line.
