The role requires expertise in hardware production scaling, unit economics, manufacturing finance, P&L management, and organizational evolution. You must be a systems thinker capable of navigating complex cross-functional problems while maintaining operational rigor and high standards for hiring and execution within the defense technology sector.

What you'll do

Manage all aspects of business line operations and infrastructure to support engineering, development, and production teams.
Serve as the General Manager's chief strategist to balance resource risks against growth plans and profitability targets.
Translate growth signals into requirements for staffing, real estate, test ranges, and classified infrastructure.
Oversee the governance structure including business reviews, annual planning, and employee onboarding processes.
Develop and implement organizational structures, hiring standards, and execution protocols as the company scales.
Execute special projects, improve internal processes, and lead M&A efforts as required.
Monitor production metrics and manage manufacturing finance to ensure successful hardware scaling and fielding.

What we're looking for

Must be eligible to hold a US Top Secret clearance.
Experience building flexible operational infrastructure at a high-growth company.
Experience with hardware production scaling through fielding, including metrics monitoring and problem resolution.
Deep financial acumen including unit economics, manufacturing finance, and P&L management.
Proven ability to evolve organizations, coach senior leaders, and make hard talent calls.
Ability to solve complex, ambiguous, cross-functional problems as a systems thinker.
Operational rigor with a focus on discipline, efficiency, and management via metrics.
