Knowledge of optical components, digital control loops, and Python is preferred, making this role ideal for those passionate about pushing the boundaries of bandwidth and power efficiency in telecommunications hardware.

What you'll do

  • Champion the innovation and design of new hardware products.
  • Resolve complex business problems using expertise in telecommunications systems.
  • Serve as a technical expert on verification and issue resolution approaches.
  • Lead and mentor other engineers within the Hardware organization.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to integrate changes into the hardware lifecycle.

What we're looking for

  • 12+ years of relevant industry experience in telecommunications and high-speed electro-optical transmission systems.
  • Strong expertise in transmission line theory and effects (micro strip, strip line, CPW).
  • Experience with high-efficiency DC-DC power converters and analog/RF simulation tools.
  • Proficient in PCB layout and constraint management for high-speed signaling above 50+ GHz.
  • Skilled in debugging and lab work using innovative test equipment.
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and influence other engineers within the hardware organization.
