Essential skills include experience with transmission line theory, high-efficiency DC-DC power converters, analog/RF simulation tools like LTSpice® and ADS®, VxDesigner® and Allegro® PCB layout tools, and debugging techniques using state-of-the-art test equipment. Additional knowledge in Power Integrity simulations, optical components, digital control loops, and Python is beneficial for this role at the forefront of telecommunications innovation.

What you'll do

  • Contribute to the architecture and specification of new hardware products.
  • Design and validate hardware for 400G, 800G, and 1.6T technologies.
  • Resolve complex technical issues during the NPI phase of product development.
  • Utilize expertise in transmission line theory and high-speed electro-optical systems.
  • Work with PCB layout tools to guide design for high-speed signaling above 50+ GHz.
  • Debug hardware using state-of-the-art test equipment and lab skills.

What we're looking for

  • 10+ years of relevant industry experience in telecommunications and high-speed electro-optical transmission systems
  • Strong expertise in transmission line theory and effects (micro strip, strip line, CPW)
  • Experience with high-efficiency DC-DC power converters and analog/RF simulation tools
  • Proficient in VxDesigner®, Allegro® PCB, SiP Layout tools for PCB layout and constraint management
  • Skilled in debugging and lab work using state-of-the-art test equipment
  • Knowledge of optical components including lasers, modulators, detectors, DWDM technologies
