As a Hardware Development Electrical Engineer (Starlink Aviation), you will join the Starlink Aviation team to develop mobility solutions for aircraft that connect to the Starlink satellite constellation. You will own the entire lifecycle of hardware enabling in-flight connectivity, working at the intersection of electrical, mechanical, thermal, software, and antenna/RF engineering. Your daily responsibilities include driving system trades, requirements capture, component selection, schematic capture, PCB layout, prototyping, and debugging complex designs for commercial aviation applications. You will also manage manufacturing, test, and in-flight performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role requires expertise in mixed-signal circuit boards involving processors, operational amplifiers, power supply components, Ethernet, I2C, and SPI. Preferred technical skills include proficiency in Python and C/C++ programming languages to support the development of high-reliability electronics and aerospace grade hardware systems.
