As an Electrical or Mechanical Hardware Designer at Lam, you will join a dynamic team focused on developing cutting-edge semiconductor equipment. Your role involves designing mechanical components using CAD software like Siemens NX and SolidWorks to create detailed engineering drawings and bills of materials for manufacturing. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams including product engineering and supply chain to ensure the successful design and release of innovative products, while also contributing to continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing performance and reducing costs. Essential skills include proficiency in 3D CAD modeling, knowledge of GD&T standards, and experience with metal machining and sheet metal fabrication processes. Prior semiconductor industry experience is beneficial, as is expertise in large assembly management methodologies and model-based-definition design (MBD).
