As a Senior Hardware Design Engineer – Aggregator, you will join a cross-functional team to develop and improve hardware processes for advanced in-vehicle architectures. Your daily tasks include leading electrical schematic design and PCB layout, assessing the feasibility of proposed designs, and collaborating with software engineers, mechanical engineers, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration. You will also support next-generation digital/analog hardware designs, optimize parametric tests, and act as a liaison between contract houses and internal teams. The role requires expertise in Mentor Graphics (schematic & layout), MathCad, PSpice, Saber, and high-speed communication buses like Ethernet and PCIe. Ideal candidates have at least 7 years of automotive electronics design experience and knowledge of requirements engineering processes such as FMEA and PHA.

What you'll do

Lead electrical schematic design and PCB layout for Aggregator hardware.
Assess feasibility of proposed electrical hardware designs considering cost, performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
Support next-generation digital/analog hardware designs including Gig+ Ethernet and processors.
Optimize parametric tests and finalize end-of-line production tests for Aggregators.
Maintain Aggregator Hardware Design deliverables such as block diagrams and schematics.

What we're looking for

Minimum 7+ years experience in automotive hardware electronics design.
Professional experience creating digital/analog HW interfaces, including schematic creation and PCB layout.
Expertise with design & analysis tools like Mentor Graphics (schematic & layout), MathCad, PSpice & Saber.
In-depth knowledge of low voltage power distribution systems and high-speed communication buses.
Strong understanding of requirements engineering processes, verification and validation methods.
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally within teams and across departments.
