GenAI & Machine Learning Summer Internship

What you'll do

• Design, build, and test autonomous AI agents using agentic frameworks to perform multi-step tasks.
• Build functional AI/ML prototypes and Proof-of-Concept applications using modern GenAI frameworks and APIs.
• Test, evaluate, and benchmark emerging AI/ML tools and protocols to identify technological advancements.
• Process, clean, and manipulate large datasets using data-oriented programming languages to create visualizations.
• Build scalable solutions by integrating enterprise cloud services and standard AI APIs into broader workflows.
• Troubleshoot, test, and optimize existing AI use cases to ensure system stability and performance.
• Translate complex AI concepts into accessible technical documentation for cross-functional teams and internal users.

What we're looking for

• Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Must have a graduation date of May 2029 or later.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.
• Must be able to work in the Chicago office 2 days a week.
• Must have a High School Diploma.
• Experience with Python or R for data manipulation, analytics, or machine learning via coursework, personal projects, or hackathons.
• Familiarity with standard data/ML tools like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, or modern GenAI/Agent tools like OpenAI API, LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, or Hugging Face.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
