Gas Equipment Engineer

What you'll do

• Own and maintain specialty and bulk gas supply systems to ensure high performance for Fab production.
• Troubleshoot emergent equipment issues and provide technical direction to resolve failures.
• Coordinate the startup, commissioning, and installation of new equipment.
• Manage and oversee Hazardous Production Materials (HPM) while ensuring strict safety and quality standards.
• Lead Management of Change (MOC) processes for PSM and RMP covered systems.
• Execute continuous improvement projects to enhance quality, productivity, and safety while reducing costs.
• Optimize preventative maintenance strategies for aging assets to minimize the risk of unexpected failures.
• Implement standardization methods across equipment fleets including work processes and alarm management.

What we're looking for

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations or maintenance for gas and chemical supply systems or fab production equipment.
• Experience with semiconductor or electronics facility support involving hazardous process materials is preferred.
• Familiarity with the design, operation, and maintenance of piping systems and facility support equipment.
• Ability to analyze trends in flow rates, pressures, and consumption within process and equipment systems.
• Strong leadership, verbal communication, and written communication skills to interface with various stakeholders.
• Experience with PSM/RMP program management and Six Sigma or LEAN tools is a plus.
• Authorization to access information subject to U.S. export control laws.
