The individual will perform comprehensive audits of quality systems to ensure products meet safety and effectiveness standards while maintaining GMP compliance. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing facilities and procedures, providing feedback on audit observations, reviewing corrective actions, and participating in strategic initiatives to improve regulatory standing. Candidates must possess a technical background in fields like Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, Microbiology, or Engineering, along with expertise in quality management systems and pharmaceutical regulations. Required skills include project management, strong oral and written communication, and the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders. The role addresses critical compliance challenges within the pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotechnology sectors.
Assess compliance of systems, facilities, and procedures against regulatory requirements and company specifications.
Provide feedback through audit observations and review corrective actions for effectiveness at internal sites and suppliers.
Formulate recommendations for corrective actions to ensure ongoing compliance with quality standards.
Participate in strategic initiatives to improve adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Coordinate and conduct joint audits in collaboration with R&D Quality Assurance teams.
Manage supplier audit activities by coordinating with procurement, manufacturing sites, and commercial affiliates.

What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific area (preferred).
At least 4 years of experience with exposure to pharmaceutical, medical device, biologics, or related industries (preferred).
ASQ certification (preferred).
6+ years of total relevant experience required.
4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with some project management experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or biotechnology industry required.
2+ years of experience in compliance/auditing required.
Technical background including understanding of QA audit processes and worldwide GMP regulations for quality systems and compliance.
Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills and sound judgment.
