JOB TITLE: Full Stack Software Engineer The Full Stack Software Engineer joins the Genospace team at Ontada to help build and deliver a web-based, cloud-hosted software platform for applied precision medicine. Working within a small, interdisciplinary team, you will design, develop, test, release, and support features while providing feedback through code and software design reviews. You will collaborate with product owners, data scientists, and designers to solve problems involving high-dimensional genomic and biomedical data. The role requires experience building web applications or data processing systems using front end, back end, and database technologies. Key technologies include Vue.js, Java, Groovy, Grails, Kafka, Micronaut, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch. This position addresses the technical challenges of providing information platforms for research, clinical development, pathology, and clinical care.

What we're looking for

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for employer support or sponsorship.
2+ years of professional experience in software development.
Experience building web applications or data processing systems.
Familiarity with web technologies and depth of experience with at least one common programming language.
Experience with front-end technology, back-end technology, and database technology.
Ability to design software to meet functional and technical requirements and communicate designs effectively.
4-year degree in computer science, engineering, or another STEM field or equivalent experience.
Familiarity with Vue.js, Java, Groovy, Grails, Kafka, Micronaut, MongoDB, or Elasticsearch (preferred).
