What you'll do

Design and implement scalable, distributed, event-driven systems using TypeScript, Node.js, React, and Next.js.
Build and manage REST APIs, backend services, and data pipelines using Kafka.
Optimize PostgreSQL databases, including data models and access patterns.
Develop containerized applications with Docker and deploy them across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
Translate ambiguous requirements into reliable technical solutions while making high-level architectural decisions.
Troubleshoot complex issues across application, infrastructure, networking, and data layers.
Mentor other engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and establishing engineering standards.

What we're looking for

Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
12+ years of experience with professional software engineering and delivering production software.
5+ years of experience with TypeScript, Node.js, React.js, and RESTful API design and implementation.
5+ years of experience working with event-driven, near-real-time streaming, and distributed architectures.
4+ years of experience using Docker and PostgreSQL.
3+ years of experience with Next.js, Kafka, and cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
3+ years of experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or Jenkins and providing technical direction.
Bachelor’s degree.
