What you'll do

Develop secure, high-quality production code while reviewing and debugging code written by other team members.

Identify and automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve system operational stability.
Lead evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams to assess architectural designs and technical feasibility.
Lead communities of practice to promote the adoption of leading-edge technologies across software engineering.
Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices for code review, refactoring, and testing.
Establish validation standards for AI-generated outputs to ensure security, performance, and accuracy.
Utilize SDLC toolchains and automation capabilities to improve delivery speed and operational outcomes.

What we're looking for

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
Experience leading development efforts, developers, and providing full end-to-end solutions.
Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java/J2EE or Python.
Hands-on experience with ReactJS, AngularJS, or similar UI technologies.
Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods like Jenkins.
Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and No-SQL databases (MongoDB).
Demonstrated proficiency in software development using cloud platforms such as AWS, Kubernetes, or Azure.
Hands-on experience with AI-based tools and responsible AI practices in engineering workflows.
Experience in financial services, investment banking, or credit risk operations (preferred).
Expertise in agentic AI frameworks, prompt optimization, and fine-tuning SLMs (preferred).
