What you'll do

Take technical ownership of brand-new, greenfield product spaces from inception to deployment.
Build and deliver highly scalable, distributed microservices with a focus on robust backend architecture.
Develop and maintain big data pipelines tracking billions of items and terabytes of analytics.
Partner with Product Managers to define technical strategies and turn ambiguous needs into features.
Lead architectural design reviews and establish coding standards across engineering teams.
Mentor engineering team members and participate in code evaluations to drive professional development.
Utilize TypeScript, JavaScript, SQL, Python, or Go to build consumer-facing experiences.
Implement observability and reliability practices for distributed systems using AWS cloud-native tools.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
At least 6 years of experience in software engineering.
At least 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
9+ years of experience coding with more than two of: Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, or Scala (preferred).
5+ years of experience contributing to open source frameworks (preferred).
5+ years of experience with front-end JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks (preferred).
5+ years of experience creating synchronous and asynchronous APIs (preferred).
