What you'll do

Take technical ownership of brand-new, greenfield product spaces from inception to deployment.
Build and deliver highly scalable, distributed microservices with a focus on robust backend architecture.
Manage diverse platforms including JavaScript/TypeScript, big data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
Partner with Product Managers to define technical strategies and turn ambiguous needs into features.
Lead architectural design, code evaluations, and hands-on coding for the engineering community.
Mentor engineering team members and share expertise on emerging technology trends.
Utilize AWS cloud-native tools, container orchestration, and various SQL/NoSQL databases.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
At least 4 years of experience in software engineering.
At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
7+ years of experience coding with more than two of: Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, or Scala (preferred).
3+ years of experience with database and database management systems (preferred).
3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or cloud-based productivity tools or virtualization technologies (preferred).
4+ years of experience contributing to open source frameworks (preferred).
