The Full-stack Engineer 4 (Manager, IC) joins the Technology Operations Center team to ensure high availability, resiliency, and performance across enterprise systems using Site Reliability Engineering practices. Day-to-day responsibilities include driving high-priority incident triage, defining service boundaries, and implementing targeted refactoring to reduce technical debt. You will utilize Java, Scala, Python, Go, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript alongside Open Source RDBMS, NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services. This role solves complex platform challenges at scale, focusing on distributed microservices and full stack systems to meet regulatory needs while maintaining a you build it, you own it environment.

What you'll do

Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers to build distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
Design advanced automation and manage cloud-native infrastructure to ensure high availability and resiliency across enterprise systems.
Deploy modern observability and monitoring tools to proactively solve complex platform challenges at scale.
Drive high-priority incident triage by leveraging AI-forward tools and real-time telemetry.
Provide technical leadership to Agile teams by setting standards for design, development, and operational excellence.
Partner with architects to define service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks.
Identify areas for improvement and implement targeted refactoring to reduce technical debt and enhance performance.
Influence long-term technology strategy by evaluating emerging tools and practices in a "you build it, you own it" environment.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
At least 4 years of experience in software engineering.
At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
7+ years of experience coding with more than two of the following: Go, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Rust, C#, Scala (preferred).
3+ years of experience with database and database management systems (preferred).
3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or cloud-based productivity tools or virtualization technologies (preferred).
4+ years of experience contributing to open source frameworks (preferred).
