What you'll do

Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of full-stack capabilities across cloud-native microservices.
Own major system components and define the technical roadmap for modernization and cloud adoption.
Develop secure, scalable back-end services using Python or Java/Spring Boot technologies.
Architect and govern AWS deployments including Kubernetes clusters, Infrastructure as Code, and security controls.
Execute DevSecOps practices including GitLab CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and secure coding standards.
Integrate large-scale data, search, and analytics pipelines using tools like Kafka, NiFi, and Elasticsearch.
Mentor junior engineers and perform code reviews to drive engineering best practices.
Evaluate emerging technologies such as LLMs and AI for mission-specific applications.

What we're looking for

6+ years of experience with full-stack software engineering.
Experience leading technical delivery or architecture for cloud-native or distributed systems.
Experience with Python, C++, Java, or Spring Boot.
Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, or SQLite.
Experience architecting and deploying solutions using AWS or Azure cloud frameworks.
Experience with containerization and orchestration, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience building secure applications in classified environments and holding an active TS/SCI clearance.
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Master's degree preferred).
