Front End Engineer, Execution Technology

What you'll do

• Build responsive, high-performance front-end applications for order management, execution dashboards, and real-time blotters.
• Develop reusable and scalable UI components to maintain a consistent architecture across all applications.
• Consume and visualize real-time streaming data from internal services using WebSockets or similar technologies.
• Translate complex trading workflows into intuitive user interfaces based on feedback from traders and portfolio managers.
• Convert designs and wireframes into clean, maintainable, and well-documented production code.
• Optimize application performance for high-frequency updates and data-heavy interfaces.
• Provide production support during trading hours to resolve issues in time-sensitive environments.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in front-end engineering, UI engineering, or modern web application development.
• Proficiency in React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Experience building real-time data UIs using WebSockets or other streaming technologies.
• Experience working with data grid or tabular UI libraries such as AG Grid.
• Strong understanding of web performance optimization including rendering efficiency, virtualization, throttling/debouncing, and memory management.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest, React Testing Library, and Playwright.
• Experience with modern front-end build tools, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and version control.
• Experience in trading technology, execution technology, or financial systems (preferred); familiarity with FIX protocol or EMS/OMS systems (preferred).
