You’ll need FAA Part 107 certification, extensive FPV flying experience, and knowledge of PX4, ArduPilot, Auterion, and Herelink control systems. This role demands strong communication skills and the ability to translate flight behavior into actionable engineering insights while adhering to safety standards and FAA regulations.

What you'll do

  • Operate multi-rotor and fixed-wing UAS platforms in acro mode within visual line of sight.
  • Conduct test flights, calibrations, and performance evaluations under engineering supervision.

  • Maintain detailed logs of flight hours, aircraft condition, and observed anomalies.
  • Support safety and compliance processes according to FAA Part 107 regulations.

What we're looking for

  • FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate required.
  • Over 100 hours of logged FPV flight time and 1 year of acro mode experience.
  • Proven precision in manual (acro) mode FPV flying.
  • Working knowledge of FAA small UAS regulations and operational best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate flight behavior into engineering insights.
  • Experience with PX4, ArduPilot, Auterion, and Herelink control systems preferred.
  • Strong situational awareness and adherence to test-site safety standards.
