Forescout Engineer

What you'll do

• Implement and operate next-generation security solutions and cyber defense tools for large, complex networks.
• Identify vulnerabilities and threats to develop and deploy effective countermeasures.
• Lead a team in engineering security solutions using network engineering, Active Directory, and system administration.
• Manage infrastructure and cybersecurity controls to improve detection, vulnerability capabilities, and event correlation.
• Perform risk and vulnerability assessments across network, system, and application areas.
• Use big data analytics and security event types to identify advanced threats or indicators of compromise.
• Deploy and maintain ForeScout CounterACT appliances in multidomain customer environments.
• Integrate cybersecurity data using enterprise or custom data aggregation and analysis tools like Splunk.

What we're looking for

• 10+ years of experience performing systems administration for Windows or Linux.
• Experience with the deployment or daily maintenance of ForeScout CounterACT appliances.
• Experience architecting and designing IP networks, including developing and documenting network topologies.
• Experience with network engineering, including configuration of switches, LANS, VLANS, and network FW.
• Knowledge of multidomain architectures, including data center, WAN, and LAN, in virtualized architectures.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to take a polygraph exam.
• Associate’s degree with 10+ years of IT experience, Bachelor’s with 8+ years, or Master’s with 6+ years of IT experience.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level III Certification (e.g., SecurityX, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, or CCSP) within 30 days of start.
