What you'll do

Develop low-level firmware and reusable device drivers for microcontrollers across land, sea, and air systems.
Take full ownership of the design, implementation, and completion of embedded firmware projects.
Debug and troubleshoot complex issues spanning electrical, firmware, and software boundaries.
Select microcontrollers and peripherals while reviewing schematics in coordination with the electrical engineering team.
Manage multiple concurrent projects at various stages of development.
Mentor other engineers and establish best practices for design engineering.
Contribute to team direction, policy, and technical guidance.

What we're looking for

BS or MS in CS, CE, EE, or equivalent industry experience.
3+ years of experience in firmware/embedded software development for embedded systems.
Expert level C coding ability for embedded systems.
Experience with one or more microcontroller cores such as ARM, AVR, MSP430, or PIC.
Experience integrating microcontrollers with analog and digital sensors.
Experience developing firmware in bare-metal and/or RTOS environments.
Proficiency using JTAG, SWD, Oscilloscopes, and Logic analyzers for debugging.
Extensive experience with common bus protocols including USB, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS232, RS485, and Ethernet.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Save
