The Finance & Accounting Internship - Summer 2027 provides an opportunity to join the Interns Group as a member of the Finance & Accounting track. In this role, you will collaborate with professionals across Corporate Finance, Treasury, FP&A, Accounting, Tax, Investor Relations, and Operations to solve business challenges. You will perform day-to-day tasks such as supporting the quarterly close process, creating executive-ready presentations, and developing financial models or dashboards to provide actionable insights. To succeed, you must utilize data analytics, AI-powered tools like Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT, and technical platforms including Power BI, SQL, Python, Alteryx, Tableau, or Oracle. The work focuses on improving reporting, forecasting, and operational efficiency while identifying trends and risks within the financial processes of a global technology leader to support critical business decision-making and strategic initiatives.

What you'll do

  • Utilize data analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for financial decision-making.
  • Leverage AI-powered tools and automation to improve reporting, forecasting, and operational efficiency.
  • Transform complex data into dashboards, visualizations, and financial models that provide actionable insights.
  • Create executive-ready presentations and recommendations for finance and business leaders.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance internal processes.
  • Support day-to-day finance functions including the quarterly close process and financial planning.
  • Participate in a cross-functional consulting project focused on emerging technologies or strategic challenges.

What we're looking for

  • Must be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Must have an expected graduation date between November 2027 and June 2028.
  • Must be available for 11–14 weeks during the Summer 2027 period from May to September.
  • Must possess familiarity with AI-enhanced productivity tools like Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT.
  • Must have strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to share insights with diverse audiences.
  • Preferred experience includes using data analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, SQL, Python, or Alteryx.
  • Preferred experience includes financial modeling, forecasting, or project work involving data analysis.
