What you'll do

  • Independently maintain and troubleshoot electrical infrastructure including switchgear and UPS systems.
  • Conduct advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for electrical system issues.
  • Improve maintenance standards, procedures, and operational practices for electrical systems.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams and vendors to support safe execution of electrical work.
  • Review electrical documentation to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support monitoring systems to evaluate alarms, trends, and equipment performance.
  • Provide field guidance and informal mentoring to less experienced technicians.

What we're looking for

  • 3 to 5+ years of experience with mission-critical electrical systems.
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical issues independently.
  • Working knowledge of NFPA, IEEE, ANSI standards and safe work practices.
  • Experience with switchgear, UPS, batteries, generators, ATS/STS equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical one-lines, schematics, and maintenance records.
  • Familiarity with EPMS, BMS, SCADA, or related monitoring systems.
  • Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent qualification preferred.
