What you'll do

  • Define, maintain, and improve electrical standards for mission-critical systems in data centers.
  • Lead complex troubleshooting and power quality analysis for high-impact events.
  • Provide technical guidance for upgrades and expansions of electrical infrastructure.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with codes and standards.
  • Review technical documentation to ensure consistent engineering quality across sites.
  • Mentor less experienced technicians and support their technical development.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience with mission-critical electrical systems in data centers or similar high-availability facilities.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills for complex technical issues.
  • Strong understanding of power distribution, protection concepts, system reliability, and operational risk management.
  • Ability to lead technical work, provide guidance on upgrades and expansions, and support critical decisions.
  • Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred; NFPA 70E training and electrical safety background beneficial.
  • OEM certifications/training on critical power systems, UPS, generators, switchgear from Schneider Electric, Eaton, ABB, Siemens, Vertiv advantageous.
