What you'll do

  • Independently maintain and troubleshoot complex electrical infrastructure.
  • Conduct advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for system issues.
  • Improve maintenance standards and operational practices for electrical systems.
  • Coordinate with various teams to ensure safe execution of electrical work.
  • Support monitoring systems to evaluate alarms, trends, and equipment performance.
  • Provide guidance and informal mentoring to less experienced technicians.
  • Review documentation and records to identify risks and improvement opportunities.

What we're looking for

  • 3 to 5+ years of experience with mission-critical electrical systems in data centers or equivalent industrial settings.
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical issues independently.
  • Working knowledge of NFPA, IEEE, ANSI standards and safe work practices like lockout/tagout and arc flash awareness.
  • Experience with switchgear, UPS systems, batteries, generators, ATS/STS equipment, grounding, and power distribution systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical one-lines, schematics, and maintenance documentation accurately.
  • Familiarity with EPMS, BMS, SCADA, or related monitoring systems for evaluating alarms and trends.
  • Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification preferred.
