What you'll do
Define and own a multi-year platform strategy aligned with HCD's objectives.
Lead the adoption of AI-assisted development tooling across the HCD portfolio.
Develop and retain a multi-layer organization of technical contributors and leaders.
Own the platform engineering budget, including headcount and cloud cost accountability.
Establish and enforce operational standards for SLOs and incident management.
Oversee security and compliance posture in alignment with HIPAA regulations.
What we're looking for
12+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and platform engineering.
Proven leadership in managing multi-team software engineering organizations.
Deep expertise in multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Kubernetes.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD ecosystems, developer portals, and observability tools.
Background in regulated industries with knowledge of HIPAA compliance.
Direct experience owning an engineering budget and demonstrating FinOps discipline.
