Equipment Engineer
The Equipment Engineer joins the Equipment/Maintenance team at Specs Inc. to maintain and service semiconductor manufacturing equipment and infrastructure within a cleanroom environment. This role involves performing daily checks, preventative maintenance, repairs, and facility upkeep while managing inventory and restocking supplies. The engineer is responsible for process documentation, calibration, and monitoring user activities to ensure safe tool operation. They will also coordinate with external services for major upgrades. Key technical requirements include expertise in semiconductor processes like thin-film deposition, lithography, or etch, along with experience in vacuum technology, high-purity gas systems, and chemical delivery. The role requires proficiency in Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems, equipment control software, and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Candidates must possess a degree in Physics, Chemistry, Optics, or Electrical Engineering and have extensive experience in semiconductor manufacturing environments.
