Entry Level Systems Engineer, C2 Networking

What you'll do

• Enable UAS command and control capabilities through resilient network design.
• Derive system, subsystem, and component level requirements for unmanned systems.
• Design, develop, and maintain system components within complex environments.
• Document software engineering processes and networking best practices.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain lab and flight-test hardware including tactical radios and routers.
• Support hardware-in-the-loop integration to validate network reliability and throughput for sensor data.
• Build and maintain physical and virtual test setups to simulate contested or high-latency networks.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical, Aerospace, Physics, or Computer Science.
• Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.
• Familiarity with basic networking.
• Demonstrated ownership and impact from internships or side projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience as a network engineer performing engineering tasks individually and in a team (preferred).
• Knowledge of Linux-based operating systems (preferred).
• Experience with test script development using common languages like Python or Matlab (preferred).
