Software Engineer, Entry Level

What you'll do

• Design and develop test software and automation frameworks for shared infrastructure.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab, including managing self-hosted runners.
• Deploy and manage containerized services on hardware test benches.
• Integrate test software with real payload hardware and lab instrumentation.
• Develop test plans and procedures to verify system and subsystem requirements.
• Investigate and debug complex software and integration issues using a systematic approach.
• Create clear documentation for designs and tooling to support other engineers.

What we're looking for

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Must be able to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance within a reasonable amount of time.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM field, or a Master's degree.
• 1+ years of job-related experience (if holding a Bachelor's degree).
• Experience developing software in Python, C/C++, or similar languages (preferred).
• Strong grasp of software fundamentals including data structures, version control, testing, and debugging (preferred).
• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks like PyTest, Git workflows, and CI/CD platforms like GitLab CI (preferred).
• Experience with Linux environments, networking concepts, and containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes (preferred).
