Entry Level Software Quality & Testing Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop test cases to assess software products at the solution, system, and feature levels.
• Identify software anomalies, missed requirements, and performance issues early in the development process.
• Develop robust continuous automation methods using tools like Robot or other test automation frameworks.
• Implement test plans based on functional, safety, and compliance requirements.
• Execute test plans across various environments including hardware/software-in-the-loop simulators, test benches, and vehicles.
• Document and resolve software problems while contributing to the team knowledge base for shared learning.
• Define effective acceptance criteria by collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams and stakeholders.

What we're looking for

• Pursue a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechatronics, Software, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
• Must be graduating between December 2026 and June 2027.
• Experience in embedded software development or testing is preferred.
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages like R, C, C++, MATLAB, or VBA is preferred.
• Ability to read and debug source code in C/C++ is preferred.
• Knowledge of applied controls theory, the software development process, and Agile environments is preferred.
• Experience with test automation (Jenkins), regression testing, and HIL/SIL test environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) and tools like Vector CANoe or MATLAB/Simulink is preferred.
