Entry Level QA Test Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and execute functional, integration, system, regression, performance, and end-to-end test plans.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks, scripts, and test suites to improve coverage.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through to resolution.
• Validate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes against functional and non-functional requirements.
• Perform root cause analysis of product defects and drive corrective actions with engineering teams.
• Integrate automated testing and quality gates into continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Monitor product quality metrics and recommend improvements to testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Create and maintain test documentation, validation reports, and quality assurance standards.

What we're looking for

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
• Understanding of software testing methodologies, test design techniques, and quality assurance principles.
• Experience developing and executing manual and automated test cases.
• Proficiency in one or more programming or scripting languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, Go, or Shell scripting.
• Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems, command-line environments, and source control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Experience building enterprise-scale test automation frameworks and knowledge of cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes and Docker (preferred).
