TL;DR · Enterprise Security Engineer

As an Enterprise Security Engineer at DoorDash, you will join a dynamic team responsible for implementing and operating security controls that protect employees across three global brands. Your daily tasks include tuning tools to enhance employee security, automating workflows with AI-assisted coding, and addressing modern SaaS risks in partnership with IT teams. You must have 2-5 years of experience in security engineering, hands-on administration of identity providers like Okta, and practical knowledge of EDR/XDR platforms and cloud services. Proficiency in Python or Go for automation scripts is essential, along with clear communication skills. This role offers the opportunity to mature security practices across DoorDash, Wolt, and Deliveroo, leveraging AI tools to streamline operations and ensure compliance without hindering productivity.

What you'll do

  • Implement and tune security controls like MFA, conditional access, and SaaS posture management.
  • Operate daily security stack including EDR, zero-trust network access, and DLP tools.
  • Automate security workflows using AI-assisted coding tools and verify their output.
  • Address modern SaaS risks such as shadow IT and OAuth token sprawl with partners.
  • Help teams adopt secure-by-default baselines to support rather than hinder their work.

What we're looking for

  • 2-5 years of experience in security engineering or related field.
  • Hands-on administration of identity providers and knowledge of modern authentication standards.
  • Practical experience operating EDR/XDR platforms and securing multiple OS endpoints.
  • Experience with at least one major cloud platform (e.g., AWS, GCP).
  • Ability to write production-quality automation scripts and communicate clearly in writing.
