Enterprise Security Engineer

What you'll do

• Build and operate identity systems including lifecycle automation, access governance, SSO, and phishing-resistant MFA.
• Manage and harden the endpoint fleet through centralized device management and configuration-as-code.
• Operate endpoint detection and protection platforms to reduce vulnerability exposure while maintaining engineering speed.
• Develop automation and AI agents to eliminate manual security tasks like onboarding, offboarding, and audit collection.
• Establish secure-by-default standards for SaaS tools and emerging AI technologies used by employees.
• Provide high-fidelity identity and endpoint telemetry to support detection, response, and incident management teams.
• Manage enterprise security metrics including system availability, fleet coverage, and mean time to repair.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in IT or security engineering roles within fast-paced technology companies.
• Deep hands-on Okta expertise including lifecycle management, SAML/OIDC SSO, SCIM provisioning, and API-driven automation.
• Experience with endpoint management at scale using Jamf for macOS hardening and configuration-as-code.
• Proficiency in EDR operations using CrowdStrike Falcon or an equivalent platform.
• Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Go, or TypeScript to write infrastructure and configuration-as-code.
• Proven track record of building agentic systems to automate manual work through AI and automation.
• Ability to manage identity-first security measures including phishing-resistant authentication and conditional access at scale.
• Must be based within commuting distance of the Miami office for in-person work four days per week.
