What you'll do

  • Lead operational database services across MongoDB, MySQL, Neo4j, and Informatica platforms.
  • Drive automation and operational efficiency by replacing manual tasks with self-service capabilities.
  • Lead incident response and service restoration during production outages and coordinate DBA resources.
  • Manage change execution for database updates, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Implement proactive reliability engineering through monitoring, capacity management, and resiliency testing.
  • Oversee the performance and development of the management team and key staff.
  • Manage infrastructure planning, risk management, and financial oversight for the department.

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree is required, though a combination of education, certifications, and experience may be considered.
  • A Master's degree or PhD is desirable.
  • At least 8 years of industry experience is typically required.
  • At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required.
  • Preferred skills include Information Security, IT Architecture, Network Administration, Network Support, Software Testing, and System Administration.
  • Competencies include Hardware Infrastructure, Information Security Technologies, IT Service Management (ITSM), and IT Systems Management.
