TL;DR · Enterprise AI Architecture Director

The Enterprise AI Architecture Director joins the Digital Core Reinvention practice to serve as the technical owner for the AI-native architecture offering. This leader will own the end-to-end delivery methodology, establish the technical point of view for credible AI transformation, and manage the asset portfolio, including reference architectures and multi-model orchestration blueprints. Key responsibilities include defining AI Guardrail Design, developing agent framework patterns, and creating evaluation harnesses. The role requires expertise in AI Architecture, large-scale data engineering, and software engineering leadership. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in multi-model orchestration, agent framework design, and event-driven architectures for real-time feedback loops. This position solves the business problem of integrating AI as a first-class participant in the enterprise core rather than a peripheral layer.

What you'll do

  • Own and evolve the end-to-end delivery methodology for AI-native architecture work.
  • Define the technical point of view for credible AI transformations in public forums and client councils.
  • Manage the asset portfolio including reference architectures, agent framework patterns, and orchestration blueprints.
  • Design AI guardrails to establish boundaries between AI-controlled and deterministic system processes.
  • Serve as the technical authority for the most consequential enterprise AI engagements.
  • Translate complex technical architecture arguments into crisp commercial narratives for sales leadership.
  • Build and maintain relationships with frontier AI labs and hyperscaler AI organizations.
  • Lead the design and delivery of production-scale AI-native architectures for enterprise clients.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of 8 years in enterprise technology delivery, including experience in data engineering, AI/ML platforms, enterprise architecture, or software engineering leadership.
  • Minimum of 2 years designing and delivering production-scale AI-native architectures at an enterprise level.
  • Minimum of 5 years owning a productized offering, platform, or methodology.
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience (12 years for Bachelor's; 6 years for Associate's).
  • Must possess a clear, defensible point of view on the current AI frontier that can be articulated publicly.
  • Working command of AI Architecture, AI Guardrail Design, Multi-Model Orchestration, and Agent Framework Design.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical architecture arguments into commercial narratives for client executives.
  • Experience designing multi-agent systems, event-driven architectures, or maintaining frontier-partner relationships (preferred).
