Engineering Solutions Systems Administrator (TeamCenter) joins the Business Systems team to support product and program teams by maximizing the value of engineering systems like PLM, CAD, CAE, MBSE, and Requirements Management. The role involves designing, developing, and implementing optimizations for these tools while collaborating with developers to resolve bugs and integration issues. Responsibilities include managing installations, upgrades, and licensing through vendor coordination, as well as providing user training to ensure technology adoption. Candidates must possess experience in TeamCenter PLM administration, Windows and Linux systems, and the Siemens suite of engineering tools including NX and SimCenter. The position focuses on solving technical challenges within the product development process by integrating various engineering design tools into a cohesive PLM solution to improve daily workflows across multiple engineering disciplines.
Manage and maintain engineering software tools including MCAD, ECAD, CAE, MBSE, and Requirements Management systems.
Administer TeamCenter PLM systems to optimize the value of engineering workflows for product teams.
Identify and resolve bugs, issues, and enhancement requests for all integrated engineering tools.
Coordinate with vendors and third-party providers to manage software upgrades, licensing, and new module implementations.
Manage the installation and post-go-live support for updates across various engineering platforms.
Resolve infrastructure and configuration issues related to the integration of design tools into PLM systems.
Provide training and technical support to users to ensure successful adoption of new technologies.
What we're looking for
Must be a US person.
At least 2 years of experience in TeamCenter PLM administration.
At least 2 years of experience installing, developing, implementing, upgrading, and maintaining engineering systems like MCAD, ECAD, CAE, MBSE, and Requirements Management.
Understanding of CAD/CAE/Systems Engineering tools and their integration with PLM solutions.
Knowledge of both Windows and Linux systems along with software installations.
Strong analytical skills to root cause end user and infrastructure related issues.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
