What you'll do

Drive cross-functional data collection efforts across hardware, software, algorithm, and operations teams.
Scope data collection programs and develop detailed project schedules with identified critical paths.
Manage risks and mitigation strategies from the initial proposal through final data delivery.
Coordinate legal requirements, participant experiences, and vendor logistics for data collection projects.
Translate complex technical information into concise reports for engineering partners and executive stakeholders.
Oversee the acquisition of real-world data to train and validate sensing algorithms and AI features.
Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations related to field logistics and operations.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or a related technical discipline.
1+ years of experience in technical program management, product management, or a technical leadership role in a large engineering project.
Knowledge of embedded software, sensor systems, data collection/research systems, machine learning, or computer vision.
Ability to dive into technical details and communicate complex information clearly to both engineers and executive stakeholders.
Strong communication, presentation, organizational, and leadership skills to influence and collaborate with diverse teams.
Proficiency in incorporating generative AI tools into daily program management work as a standard practice.
5+ years of technical program management experience in consumer facing product development (preferred).
Experience with sensor-driven data collection for machine learning, vendor management, or field logistics (preferred).
