What you'll do

  • Drive cross-functional data collection efforts across hardware, software, algorithm, and operations teams.
  • Scope data collection programs and develop detailed project schedules with identified critical paths.
  • Manage risks and mitigation strategies from the initial proposal through final data delivery.
  • Coordinate legal requirements, participant experiences, and vendor logistics for data collection projects.
  • Translate complex technical information into concise reports for engineering partners and executive stakeholders.
  • Oversee the acquisition of real-world data to train and validate sensing algorithms and AI features.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations related to field logistics and operations.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 1+ years of experience in technical program management, product management, or a technical leadership role in a large engineering project.
  • Knowledge of embedded software, sensor systems, data collection/research systems, machine learning, or computer vision.
  • Ability to dive into technical details and communicate complex information clearly to both engineers and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, presentation, organizational, and leadership skills to influence and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in incorporating generative AI tools into daily program management work as a standard practice.
  • 5+ years of technical program management experience in consumer facing product development (preferred).
  • Experience with sensor-driven data collection for machine learning, vendor management, or field logistics (preferred).
