Engineering Manager, Network Health

What you'll do

• Lead a team of five engineers and two data scientists through coaching and goal setting.
• Define the long-term Network Health strategy and technical roadmap in partnership with leadership.
• Translate evolving fraud scenarios and business requirements into actionable technical priorities.
• Maintain a high bar for technical quality and delivery velocity across all projects.
• Analyze data and the tech stack to identify trends and guide technical decisions.
• Partner with data scientists and machine learning engineers to build risk detection platforms.
• Manage the development of robust risk platforms to mitigate fraud and abuse across all products.

What we're looking for

• Lead a team of 5 engineers and 2 embedded data scientists through coaching and goal setting.
• Drive long-term Network Health strategy and roadmaps in partnership with technical and product leaders.
• Uphold high standards for technical quality and delivery velocity.
• Analyze data and tech stacks to identify trends and guide technical decisions.
• 8+ years of industry experience, including time as a Staff-level engineer before transitioning into management (preferred).
• 2+ years of engineering management experience (preferred).
• Track record of setting strategy and executing roadmaps in ambiguous environments (preferred).
• Deep technical judgment in backend and data-intensive systems, including architecture, system design, and coding (preferred).
• Experience in risk engineering, fraud detection, abuse prevention, trust and safety, or a related domain (preferred).
• Track record of building and growing high performing engineering teams (preferred).
