Engineering Manager, Foundations, Finance Data & Technology

What you'll do

• Own the strategy, architecture, and execution for cloud infrastructure, data platforms, and AI/ML services.
• Build production-grade agentic AI and GenAI capabilities as reusable enterprise assets with proper governance.
• Serve as the primary engineering point of contact to negotiate shared standards and integration points with other organizations.
• Manage and develop a team of engineering managers, architects, and senior technical leads.
• Establish engineering standards and architectural principles to improve quality, reliability, and security across all teams.
• Define and report platform health metrics, including adoption and developer productivity, to executive stakeholders.
• Drive platform modernization and cost efficiency to support rapid growth in data volume and AI use cases.

What we're looking for

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years leading managers and senior technical leaders across multiple teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 12+ years of software engineering experience, with 6+ years leading managers and senior technical leaders across multiple teams (preferred).
• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience (preferred).
• Background supporting Finance, Corporate Systems, Enterprise Analytics, or high-throughput data platforms (preferred).
• Direct, hands-on experience designing and shipping an agentic AI solution into production, especially in finance or regulated industries (preferred).
• Deep expertise in cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, APIs, and modern data platforms at scale (preferred).
