What we're looking for

  • Experience as an engineering leader capable of managing and growing geographically distributed teams.
  • Ability to build and run extremely reliable platform systems supporting high-scale, critical workloads.
  • Experience managing 24x7 on-call services with 99.95%+ availability and fast mean-time-to-restore.
  • Proven track record of delivering timely results on critical priorities while managing competing demands.
  • Ability to facilitate technical strategy trade-offs and understand the big picture to shape products.
  • Experience building and leading software engineering teams with a focus on inclusion and diversity.
  • Experience in Orchestration, Spark, Trino/Presto, Snowflake, BigQuery, RedShift, Druid, LanceDB, and/or Big Data Analytics technologies (preferred).
