Engineering Lab Technician

What you'll do

• Set up and maintain regression racks with various hardware components.
• Assemble and maintain thermal systems including pneumatic heads and cooling units.
• Perform precise soldering and rework on PCBs down to 0201 component size.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for FPGA boards and lab equipment.
• Assist remote users with chip swaps and thermal station adjustments remotely.
• Neatly route and dress power and network cables for regression racks.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Proficient in soldering and PCB rework, including SMT components down to 0201 size.
• Familiarity with lab test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DVMs, and Caliber systems.
• Basic networking knowledge including switches, remote desktop access, and server fundamentals.
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and ability to follow precise instructions from project leads.
• Flexibility to support 24/7 lab operations and coordinate with third-party personnel.
