Engineering Group Head II

What you'll do

• Manage a team of subject matter experts in cabin systems including waste, water, oxygen, connectivity, and power.
• Oversee validation and integration projects while ensuring compliance with all technical requirements.
• Manage Integrated Test Facilities (ITF) operations and laboratory testing equipment needs.
• Coordinate aircraft support logistics for completions operations and in-service aircraft.
• Align engineering budgets, schedules, and performance standards with corporate business unit objectives.
• Direct short- and long-term strategic goals, personnel staffing, and technical training programs.
• Manage software deliverables including GCMS/AVDS configurations and SPDS request datelines.
• Resolve complex technical problems and provide guidance to subordinate supervisors and staff.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related curriculum is required.
• 13 years of engineering experience is required.
• 8 years of experience in a specific technical discipline is required.
• 5 years of supervisory or broad managerial responsibility is required.
• Experience with cabin systems, including SAT TV, KA SYS, GCMS, and Audio & Video distribution systems is preferred.
• Proficiency in CHS and Smarteam environments for supporting wiring diagrams and schematics is preferred.
• Experience managing Integrated Test Facilities (ITF) and aircraft support logistics is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
