What you'll do

Design and implement robust technical architectures for high-volume inventory and checkout systems.
Solve complex engineering problems to ensure the reliability and speed of software features.
Perform active code reviews to maintain software quality and functional accuracy across the team.
Manage and resolve operational issues with little to no oversight.
Partner with data scientists to leverage machine learning for demand forecasting and replenishment.
Maintain technical expertise in backend languages, event streaming, and distributed programming.

What we're looking for

A 4-year degree or equivalent experience is required.
At least 1+ years of software development experience with at least one full cycle implementation is required.
Proficiency in at least one computer language is required.
Knowledge of data structures and how to apply them in a chosen programming language is required.
Understanding of distributed programming concepts and their application to a domain is required.
Understanding of package solutions, package-specific programming languages, and development objects is required.
Familiarity with current and emerging technologies in the scope of responsibility is required.
Knowledge of backend languages like Java, Kotlin, Groovy, Spring Boot, or Micronaut is required.
