Join our dynamic software engineering team as a Senior Software Engineer where you will design and develop scalable, maintainable technical solutions that align with organizational standards and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate closely with senior technical leads, functional teams, and consulting partners to implement out-of-the-box configurations and custom scripts using Java/J2EE microservices architecture with Spring Boot and Hibernate. Your day-to-day responsibilities include writing efficient SQL queries for PostgreSQL, Oracle, and DB2 databases, contributing to the multi-year technology roadmap, and maintaining technical documentation. You will also leverage modern UI frameworks like Angular and CI/CD pipelines such as Concourse and Jenkins to ensure high-quality software delivery. This role requires expertise in cloud-native architecture, event-driven systems with Kafka, and secure coding practices for RESTful APIs using Spring Security and OAuth2.

What you'll do

Design and develop software solutions that meet organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
Conduct peer reviews of design and code to maintain quality and best practices.
Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Implement software using out-of-the-box configurations and custom scripts or code.
Develop and optimize SQL queries for PostgreSQL, Oracle, and DB2 databases.
Write, debug, and troubleshoot application code across multiple layers.
Contribute to the organization’s multi-year technology roadmap.

What we're looking for

Strong programming fundamentals and problem-solving skills with AI-assisted coding tools experience.
Proficiency in Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and ORM frameworks for backend development.
Experience with modern responsive UI frameworks like Angular for frontend development.
Advanced SQL skills and performance tuning across PostgreSQL, Oracle, and DB2 databases.
Hands-on experience with Bash, PowerShell, Node.js, Groovy, Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript scripting languages.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Concourse, Jenkins, and other automation platforms.
Knowledge of cloud-native architecture, 12-factor app principles, and agile/DevOps methodologies.
