What you'll do

Develop embedded software modules for satellite and ground systems using C, C++, Rust, or Assembly.
Implement 3GPP 5G NTN and Open RAN based networking and management stack functions.
Design and implement test frameworks to validate the Leo satellite constellation's communication software.
Execute all phases of the SDLC including requirements gathering, design, coding, and testing.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues using schematics, logic analyzers, and wireless signal analysis.
Develop low-level drivers and firmware targeting SoCs, FPGAs, and general-purpose processors.
Optimize low-latency, high-reliability payload connectivity solutions for the satellite constellation.

What we're looking for

Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, or lawfully admitted as a refugee or granted asylum.
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience for new and existing systems.
Experience with embedded software and Linux operating systems.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, Java, or Perl.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent (preferred).
5+ years of full software development life cycle experience including coding standards, source control, and CI/CD (preferred).
