You will write software to interact with electronics using I2C, I3C, SPI, RS-422, RS-485, and Ethernet communications. The role requires proficiency in C, C++, RUST, C#, Java, or Perl to develop high reliability software for the Satellite Communication Systems Payload.

What you'll do

Own unique embedded software functions through design, implementation, testing, and integration.
Develop software in C, C++, RUST, or other languages for embedded Linux or RTOS environments.
Write software to interact with electronics using I2C, I3C, SPI, RS-422, RS-485, and Ethernet.
Drive the design and operation of mode management, telemetry, power control, and autonomous capabilities.
Perform hardware setup, verification, integration, and testing in coordination with hardware teams.
Implement high reliability embedded software to ensure satellite availability throughout its lifetime.
Develop software specifically for the Satellite Communication Systems Payload.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or granted asylum.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience for new and existing systems.
1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
1+ years of experience developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
