What you'll do

Develop and deploy Agentic AI and machine learning solutions to automate complex chip design workflows.
Build and maintain software tools supporting logic design, functional verification, timing analysis, and physical design.
Design and implement efficient algorithms for large-scale software systems to improve design quality.
Automate synthesis and place-and-route processes using advanced AI technologies.
Develop software solutions that accelerate the development of IBM's next-generation processors and computing systems.
Implement software tools specifically for zSystems, Power Systems, Storage, and Quantum Computing products.

What we're looking for

High School Diploma or GED.
Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience with object-oriented programming languages such as C++, Java, Rust, or similar.
Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and digital logic design.
Coursework or project experience with AI or Agent Engineering.
Familiarity with computer architecture, microarchitecture, and semiconductor design concepts (preferred).
